Eye Exams in the Buffalo, NY Area
Regular vision exams are an important component of your preventative health care regimen. Regular eye exams allow you to keep your vision prescriptions up to date, as well as provide us with insight regarding the general health of your eyes. We can detect vision impairment, eye diseases, and more. Thomas Turtle Opticians proudly serves the Buffalo, NY area.
Our eye examinations include the following:
- Refraction Evaluation-several tests to measure your ability to see clearly, focus your eyes, and to determine whether or not you need prescription eyewear
- Binocular Evaluation-tests to determine the ability of your eyes to work together at near and far distances
- Diagnosis & Treatment Plan-your optometrist will determine any necessary treatments such as corrective eyewear or appropriate referrals as needed
How often should you have your eyes examined?

Individuals with diabetes, poor general health, who are taking medications that may have potential eye-related side effects, and those with a family history of eye diseases may need to have their eyes examined once a year.
